What is this all about?

In general, we’re allowing you to see what a related group (or "hive") of people are talking about on Twitter. You can filter by timeline or type of content, and drill into specific topics to learn more.

How can I create a Hive for my own town or group?

Contact us! Let us know what group of people you're interested in zoning in on, and we'll create a hive for you! The group could be a twitter list you've discovered or created, top tweeters from your city, your top followers, or any other group you can think of!

How can I navigate around this site?

Most of the features live on the homepage.

You can change the filters above the tag cloud to control what you're seeing.

If you want to see who is being mentioned, select tweeps. Hashtags will show you the most used hashtags, and keywords provides a more general search for those who want to see everything being mentioned. Hottest headlines will show the top news and blog articles that people in the hive are tweeting.

Change the time frame to get an overview of the past week, or discover breaking topics from the past 10 minutes. Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the tag cloud to view big topics from the past.
